The Minoan snake goddess (known also as the small faience Snake Goddess) is a type of figurine representing a woman holding a snake in each hand. The first two of such figurines (both incomplete) were found by the British archaeologist A. Evans and date to the neo-palatial period of Minoan civilization, c. 1700–1450 BCE.
Minoan snake goddess seems to be associated with the protection of household and domesticity.
